Hi everyone , I'm about to buy a 2007 300c srt8, it's have a 5.7 engine, I check online and the only information I found is that the srt8 came with the 6.1 engine, now the seller is telling me that some srt8 came with the 5.7, is this information right? Thanks in advance.

North American market SRT8 cars came with the 6.1L, and later the 6.4L, HEMI engines.
No SRT8 cars sold in NA had 5.7L engines.

Most titles and registrations I've seen don't differentiate between a 300C & and 300C SRT8.
The most accurate way is to get the VIN of the vehicle and plug it in at FCA's website for a build sheet, which will specifically identify the model.
Here is the link:
https://fcacommunity.force.com/Chrysler/s/equipment-listing
Looking at the VIN, the 7th character identifies which engine came with the car. In the case of the SRT8, that character is a "W". There's some more info on the VIN decoder here:
https://www.300cforums.com/forums/general-discussion/4798-vin-number-breakdown.html
There are some outward appearance clues you can use as well but be advised most of this stuff can be bolted on so checking the VIN build sheet or 7th VIN character would be the most accurate methods.

That's total BS. Are these used car sales people?
Of course, they may not actually know what engine is in the car.
NO North American sold SRT8 ever came with the 5.7L engine.

While it is not foolproof, check the emissions sticker pasted to the radiator support crossmember for the engine displacement designation. If it says 5.7 it's not an SRT8. Of course, if it says 6.1 or 6.4 that is not proof positive that it is an SRT8 either, just that the sticker says so!
Of course if you ever drove a real 300C SRT8 you'd know the difference upon standing on the loud pedal!
If there is any question, buyer beware!

I appreciate all the information at least now I have an idea what to look for, there is not to many srt8 on the market with the 6.1 lol. So far there is one 2007 they asking $9000 with 125.000 miles and another one with 78.000 miles they want $7500 but is a salvage title, what do you think is a fair price for the first generation 2006 2007?

All 2007 300 SRT8's will have Brembo brakes, slotted rotors, Bilstein shock absorbers (front pair), HID headlights, 300 km/hr speedo, "SRT8" will be embossed on tachometer face, leather wrapped steering wheel, trunk wing, alcatera seat inserts, embroidered "SRT8" on front seat backs, no spare tire and of course a 6.1 Hemi. Anything else is a poser.
A 300C, a great car in itself, will have a 5.7 Hemi.

The only srt8 to come with a 5.7 is the srt design I believe that is what they are selling.

This is what I was going to say. The car that started my 300 obsession was a srt/design that had the 5.7 and bits and pieces of the srt8 package.

SRT8 Design
Chances are it's an SRT8 Design. I ran into this situation once before. Look closely at the badging, it may say design nearby unless it's been removed. This was a senseless trim that confused the heck out of most everyone.

SRT is only with 6.1 and 6.4 HEMI
5.7 HEMI is SRT Design

I've only seen one and I totally forgot about them two.
But they aren't a real SRT IMHO.
